Paragon Behavioral Health Services, now part of DTAC, is seeking compassionate Behavioral Health Technicians to support children, adolescents, and families in Wyomissing, PA.

This in-person role provides one-on-one therapeutic support under clinical supervision, focusing on developing positive behaviors and social skills, with structured onboarding and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

Position Summary

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) provides one-on-one therapeutic support to children and adolescents, implementing individualized treatment plans under clinical supervision. This role is essential in helping clients develop positive behaviors, coping skills, and social functioning in home and community settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral health services to children and adolescents
• Implement individualized treatment goals and interventions
• Collect behavioral data and track client progress
• Model interventions and strategies for caregivers

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow treatment plans

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field (Psychology, Social Work, Education, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree in another field with at least 1 year of experience working with children or adolescents
• Associate’s degree or 60 college credits with 3+ years of relevant experience

Requirements

• Ability to obtain PA clearances (Criminal Background, FBI, Child Abuse)
• Completion of required trainings prior to independent work
• Commitment to compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards

Work Location
