Job summary

Oakwood Springs in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech to support the therapeutic milieu under RN supervision and ensure the program is delivered safely. The role focuses on patient supervision and respectful care during night shifts on Unit 3.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma (or equivalent), valid driver's license with MVR and insurance proof, CPR within 30 days, CPI training within 30 days, and age-specific training as required. 21+ is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license and a favorable MVR, with proof of insurance when using personal or hospital owned vehicle
• CPR certification within 30 days of employment and CPI Training within 30 days of employment
• Completion of additional age specific training within 30 days of employment as required
• Must obtain and maintain agency affiliation where applicable

• Ensure schedule/program delivery, supervise patients, maintain safety.
• Treat patients and guests with respect and dignity.

Schedule: 3x12, 7pm-7am

What We're Looking For

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• License: Will require valid driver's license and a favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), along with proof of insurance when using personal or hospital owned vehicle
• Certification: CPR certification within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact
• Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact
• Completion of additional age specific training within 30 days of employment as required
• Where applicable, must obtain and maintain agency affiliation

Minimum Work Experience

Previous experience in a psychiatric health facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred

Additional Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age
