Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an entry-level Behavioral Health Technician to support clients in WellStone Emergency Services. You will assist with living skills, document progress, and help maintain a safe, organized environment on site.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and strong verbal and written communication. CPR and CPI certifications are preferred or obtainable, along with MAC 1 eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Certified in CPR and CPI or ability to obtain CPI certification.
• Ability to obtain Medication Assistant Certification (MAC 1).
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or ability to obtain CPI certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent instruction, guidance, encouragement, and reinforcement to clients in WellStone Emergency Services.
• Regularly documents resident progress in the Electronic Health Record in a timely manner.
• Coordinate activities, conduct group therapy, and maintain electronic documentation timely.
• Work closely with the treatment team and assist with shift notes and incident reports.
• Perform de-escalation techniques and crisis interventions as required; assist with safety and housekeeping.
