Job summary

UCHealth Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, CO, seeks a Behavioral Health professional to support a safe, therapeutic environment across inpatient, ED, or ambulatory settings. Under RN supervision, you will assist in milieu management and patient care.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, 1 year of behavioral health experience, and current BLS/CPR certification. Pay ranges from $18.40 to $27.60 per hour, dependent on experience, with a PRN, variable schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of related Behavioral Health experience required.
• BLS through AHA or Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment in collaboration with the care team.
• Monitors and documents patients' coping mechanisms and provides crisis intervention when necessary.
• Contributes to the plan of care and assists in carrying it out; reports changes in condition to the care team.
• Follows instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions.
• Maintains composure and uses critical thinking to act appropriately in a fast-paced setting.
