Job summary

Axis Health System is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician in Montrose, CO, to provide supportive services and ensure compliance with care directives in a 24-hour residential unit. You will join a multidisciplinary team assisting with individual care plans and may support other locations as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is preferred, with training including Hepatitis, Infectious Disease inoculations and BLS certification prior to employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• TB screening and annual flu vaccination required; BLS certification prior to employment will be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive services and monitor compliance within a 24-hour residential care unit.
• Participate in the service delivery team to assist with individual care plans per policies and directives.
• May provide similar services at other Axis Health System locations as needed.
