The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) manages the immediate milieu of patients, facilitates group therapy, aids with activities of daily living, and assists in maintaining a safe and clean environment, under the supervision of the Charge Nurse.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide supervision for assigned patients.
• Facilitate psycho-educational groups.
• Document observations of patient behavior clearly.
• Perform basic housekeeping tasks to maintain patient living areas.
• Ensure patient safety at all times.

Shift Hours: Monday - Friday (3:00 pm - 11:30 pm)

Shift Differential Pay: Weekdays (3 pm - 11 pm): $3.25, weekdays (11 pm - 7 am): $5.00; weekends (7 am - 3 pm): $2.00, weekends (3 pm - 11 pm): $5.00, weekends (11 pm - 7 am): $7.00.

Retention Bonus: Eligible after completing the sign-on bonus; current bonus is $4,000.

Advancement Opportunities & Incentives: BHT Career Ladder Program: Employed for 6 months, then eligible for advancement in title and pay following the program.

$1 added to base pay if bilingual (must pass language assessment; assessment available after 30 days).

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's in human services preferred
• 2+ years' education in nursing, psychology, social services, medicine, or related field; EMT, CNA, Medical Assistant, Security Training, or similar completion preferred

• Valid driver’s license in applicable state
