Full-Time Days & Nights Available

Pay Range

USD $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for observing and monitoring patients in treatment, reporting as needed, and contributing to the welfare of the organization. They assist patients with various activities and help maintain a safe environment.

Key duties include:

• Enforcing facility program rules professionally and fairly.
• Communicating patient behavior to supervisors and clinical teams.
• Using verbal de-escalation techniques to address problem behaviors.
• Adhering to schedules.
• Maintaining professional boundaries with patients and staff.
• Ensuring documentation is accurate, timely, and secure.

Position Details

Full-Time Days & Nights

Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours each

Urgent Hiring: Full-Time Days (7 am - 7 pm) and Full-Time Nights (7 pm - 7 am)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree and at least one year of experience in a BHT or similar role preferred.
• Alternatively, two years of relevant experience or successful completion of ARS BHT training.
• Experience working with adults or children/adolescents preferred based on facility type.
• Valid driver's license meeting safety standards.
• State-specific licensing (e.g., Agency Affiliation Counselor license).
• Optional certifications: Medication Technician/QMAP, CBHT, CNA, or MA.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
