Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Mental Health Tech (MHT) to work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will provide clerical and patient care activities for patients with psychiatric and substance use concerns, supporting group activities and treatment planning.

The position offers full-time hours with day and night shifts available. CNA preferred, High School diploma required, and fingerprint clearance is needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CNA preferred for the role.
• Valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and patient care activities under RN supervision for patients with psychiatric and substance abuse conditions.
• Manage behavioral problems, facilitate education and activity groups, and participate as a member of the treatment team.
