Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required, or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Previous experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, healthcare, or direct care preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to follow facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor clients to promote safety and compliance with program expectations.
• Assist with client admissions and intake procedures as needed.
• Conduct routine rounds and document client observations accurately.
• Support clients with daily living activities and other needs as appropriate.
• Observe and document client self-administration of medication in accordance with facility policies.
• Respond appropriately to behavioral and emotional crises, utilizing de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques as trained.
• Maintain accurate client records and complete required documentation.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly treatment environment.
• Provide transportation for clients when needed and authorized.
• Maintain appropriate therapeutic boundaries and professional conduct.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to support client progress and program goals.
• Attend required training and participate in ongoing staff development.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
