Pyramid Healthcare is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) in Concord, NC to support clients in behavioral health and substance use treatment. Open availability and willingness to work various shifts including weekends are required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required, or ability to obtain upon hire.
Previous experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, healthcare, or direct care preferred.
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record required.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to follow facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor clients to promote safety and compliance with program expectations.
Assist with client admissions and intake procedures as needed.
Conduct routine rounds and document client observations accurately.
Support clients with daily living activities and other needs as appropriate.
Observe and document client self-administration of medication in accordance with facility policies.
Respond appropriately to behavioral and emotional crises, utilizing de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques as trained.
Maintain accurate client records and complete required documentation.
Help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly treatment environment.
Provide transportation for clients when needed and authorized.
Maintain appropriate therapeutic boundaries and professional conduct.
Collaborate with the treatment team to support client progress and program goals.
Attend required training and participate in ongoing staff development.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Schedule & Pay

Employment Status: Full-Time

Pay Range: $16.00–$18.50 per hour, based on experience
