Job summary

Monte Nido Rosewood in Wickenburg, AZ, seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to assist in leading the nursing team. The role includes direct patient care, meal monitoring, and supporting therapy groups within a multidisciplinary treatment program for eating disorders.

The position is PRN, with a comprehensive benefits array and equal opportunity employment commitment. Prior behavioral/mental health experience is preferred, and CPR/First Aid/CPI certifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, and CPI certifications.
• Must possess a current AZ DPS fingerprint card within specified timeframe.
• Must be 21 years of age or older in accordance with Dept. of Health Services R9-20-204.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record as driving is a requirement of the job.
• Experience in behavioral and/or mental health preferred.
• Eating Disorder knowledge, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing quality patient care, which includes demonstration of skills in basic monitoring of patient activities and behaviors.
• Provide meal monitoring, support and redirection of patients with eating disorders.
• Support topic groups with therapy activities including art activities, recreational activities, meditation, and guided imagery.
