Job summary

You will gather data for care plans, support patients with empathy, and collaborate with clinicians to ensure quality, safe care while maintaining a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least one year college experience in Behavioral Health or related field, or EMT experience.
• Ability to physically manage patients safely.
• BLS Heartsaver Certification required during orientation.
• WELLE training within the first three months (location-specific).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals with addiction, behavioral problems, or mental health challenges.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment to maximize patient wellbeing.
• Interact positively with patients, offering comfort, empathy, encouragement, and support.
• Assess patients and gather relevant data to contribute to their care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver quality, safe care.
• Notify managers of significant patient care issues as needed.
