Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health in Potosi, MO seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to join our Recovery Services team. The role focuses on direct client support, participation in the treatment team, adherence to medication policies, and assistance with admissions and orientation.

You will educate and support clients, help with daily activities, and provide transportation assistance as needed, in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting that values wellbeing and growth.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Must have a driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate as a treatment team member to identify client strengths, needs, abilities and preferences.
• Ensure program expectations and rules are followed and report behaviors to supervisors for effective interventions.
• Adhere to medication policies and work with nursing staff to ensure compliance.
• Assist in the admission and orientation process, including vitals safety checks and specimen collection if needed.
• Educate and support clients in daily activities as needed.
• Provide transportation assistance as required.
