Clearview Treatment Programs in Venice, CA is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support clients across PM and Overnight shifts in a therapeutic milieu. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and collaboration with the clinical team to apply DBT-informed strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (or equivalent), relevant substance use/mental health experience, and CPR/First Aid certification or a plan to obtain it within 30 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; drug/alcohol certification preferred or willingness to complete requirements.
• Minimum 1+ year experience with clients with substance use or mental health issues.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients throughout shifts and maintain a therapeutic environment.
• Document in client records and communicate with the clinical team.
• Conduct client drug screening, pregnancy tests, and breathalyzers as needed.
• Assist with ADLs and supervise meals and activities.
