Responsibilities

• Maintains documentation of patient mood, mental sharpness, sleep, eating and overall function.
• Maintains direct observation and records patient vital statistics.
• Recognizes early signs of escalation and reports to care team.
• Communicates with treatment team to ensure safe, quality care.
• Responds appropriately to dangerous behavior with de-escalation.
• Assists with patient care tasks delegated by licensed staff.
