Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to join our Charlotte Hall residential center. This full-time role supports treatment teams by transporting clients, completing intake, documenting care, and monitoring medication administration under supervision.

The shift runs 7 am to 3:30 pm, with a focus on client safety and recovery. A high school diploma is required, and relevant healthcare experience or certifications are preferred; drivers license is desirable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid Driver's License preferred.
• Behavioral health experience or general healthcare experience preferred.
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients to appointments and discharge locations using a company-provided vehicle.
• Complete the intake process with new clients entering the program.
• Maintain accurate client documentation.
• Observe and document client self-administration of medication, as applicable.
• Coordinate client activities.
• Follow treatment plan objectives and address client-specific needs.
• Evaluate clients' behavioral and emotional needs, providing appropriate responses, including crisis intervention.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly physical environment.
• Assist with clients' dietary needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
