Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is dedicated to high-quality behavioral healthcare at the Charlotte Hall Drug & Alcohol Residential Treatment Center in Bowie, MD. This PRN Behavioral Health Technician role supports intake, documentation, medication observation, and activity coordination to help clients recover.

The position requires a High School Diploma; behavioral health or healthcare experience is preferred, and CPR/AED/First Aid certification is encouraged. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Behavioral health or general healthcare experience preferred.
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete the intake process with new clients entering the program.
• Maintain accurate client documentation.
• Observe and document client self-administration of medication, as applicable.
• Coordinate client activities.
• Follow treatment plan objectives and address client-specific needs.
• Evaluate clients' behavioral and emotional needs, providing appropriate responses, including crisis intervention.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly physical environment.
• Assist with clients' dietary needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
