Oceans Healthcare in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support nursing staff and maintain a therapeutic milieu. You will perform patient care tasks, monitor safety, assist with activities of daily living, and document observations for the care team.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CNA certification or 6 months bedside care experience, and the ability to communicate clearly with diverse populations. BLS and de-escalation training may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and follow verbal and written instruction.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must work well with diverse populations.

Responsabilités

• Continually monitors and supports compliance within unit rules.
• Demonstrates de-escalation and therapeutic interventions as needed.
• Implements patient care activities under supervision; performs vital signs, ADL support and document findings.
