Job summary

Attain Behavioral Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for in‑person work in the Cleveland area. The BHT provides direct care and support to clients with behavioral health needs, maintains a safe therapeutic environment, and assists with transporting clients to activities and appointments.

The role involves crisis intervention, documentation, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CDCA licensure required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in a behavioral health setting or related field.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid.
• Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting and assisting clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including hygiene, meals, and medication management.
• Implement and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct therapeutic activities and facilitate group sessions as directed by the clinical supervisor.
• Monitor and document clients' progress, behavior, and well‑being.
