Haven Behavioral Healthcare, part of Oceans Healthcare, is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support nursing staff in a therapeutic milieu for individuals with mental health and substance use needs.

The BHT will assist with routine patient care, document observations, and communicate with the nursing team to ensure safety and quality care. CNA certification or 6 months bedside experience is required.

Qualificações

• CNA certification or 6 months bedside care experience required.
• Able to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work with diverse populations.
• CPR certification and Oceans de-escalation program required.

Responsabilidades

• Support nursing staff to maintain a therapeutic milieu.
• Perform routine patient care tasks within training scope.
• Document patient observations accurately in the chart.
• Communicate patient status and needs to the nurse promptly.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility as needed.
