Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in social work, counseling, psychology or related human services field.
• Must obtain a Nursing Assistant Registered (CNA) prior to start date.
• If assigned to Navos Hospital, BLS certification is required prior to starting.
• Other campuses require CPR certification prior to starting on the floor.
• First Aid training required prior to starting (Navos).
• Food Handler's Card required within first two weeks of hire.
• Washington State ACCR credential must be applied for within 30 days; DOH requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Support the unit with excellent patient service and clinic management assistance.
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, front office staff and clinic management to ensure comprehensive health care outcomes.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting patient autonomy, dignity and health.
• Maintain safe, hazard-free environment by observing, documenting patient behavior and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Provide and document interventions in modalities matched to each patient’s needs.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or any other human services field preferred
