Job summary

Triangle Springs, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support patients with daily living activities and care under nursing supervision. The role involves observing patient behavior, documenting changes, and assisting with treatment plans in a 77-bed hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of behavioral health experience, be 21 or older, and hold a BLS certification with CNA preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of behavioral health experience preferred.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• BLS Certification required.
• CNA license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with performing activities of daily living
• Provide or assist with providing patient care, diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions
• Observe and record patient behavior and activities
• Report on changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff
• Suggest modifications to treatment plan as needed

Skills

Behavioral health experience

BLS Certification
