Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech (CNA I) for our 81-bed Adult Behavioral Health Unit at South Campus. You will identify patient needs, provide care appropriate to condition and age, and document medical necessity in the chart as part of a collaborative care team.

Applicants must hold a current NA I license, complete an NA course, and obtain BLS within 30 days of hire; one year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current NA I license and complete NA course from an accredited school.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.

Join our team in a 81-bed Adult Behavioral Health Unit. Staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Mental Health Technicians, Social Work Therapists, Recreational Therapists and Psychiatric Providers. Our unit treats a variety of diagnoses such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Patients may present with psychosis, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, mania, or exacerbations of mental illness. This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a supportive environment focused on providing quality care and support to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises.
