Job summary

TEAMCare Behavioral Health LLC in Lancaster County is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to provide one-to-one support to children and adolescents per treatment plans, helping them succeed at home, school, and in the community.

Responsibilities include prompt interventions in behavior management, data collection, and collaboration with families and team members to ensure plan adherence. Training will be provided, with requirements including clearances and a PA driver's license.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion for patients and families.
• Proficiency with Excel and MS Word; ability to learn additional applications.
• Ability to obtain Act 33, Act 34, and FBI clearances.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and auto insurance.

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) provides one-to-one assistance to children/adolescents following individual treatment plans designed to teach skills and interventions to help them succeed in the classroom/community/home environment.

Role Responsibilities:

• Prompt interventions in the areas of behavior management, conflict resolution, anger management, and peer interaction skills based on the treatment plan goals provided by Behavior Consultant or Mobile Therapist.
• Collect daily data and document progress in a prescribed format for each session with the child/adolescent.
• Complete initial and annual training as required.
• Collaborate with client, family, and all other assigned team members to ensure compliance.

What you need to be SUCCESSFUL in the Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) role:

• Passion for patient care and a desire to make positive changes in someone's life

• Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and ability to learn and efficiently utilize other computer applications
• Must possess or have ability to obtain Act 33, Act 34, and FBI clearances
• Valid PA Driver's license and auto insurance
