Summary of Client's Description of This Opportunity
- Provide direct care and supervision to patients in a mental health setting.
- Assist in implementing and following individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor and document patient behaviors, progress, and any significant changes.
- Support patients in daily activities, therapeutic exercises, and group sessions.
- Ensure a safe and structured environment for individuals receiving treatment.
- Collaborate with mental health professionals, social workers, and nurses to support patient care.
- Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques when necessary.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal mental health regulations and organizational policies.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.
Client's Required Experience and Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant education or certification in psychiatric technology or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience working in mental health, forensic, or similar settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of psychiatric medications, therapeutic techniques, and behavioral management strategies.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
