Location: Independence, MO (Kansas City area)

Shift: Saturday & Sunday (7:00am - 7:00pm)

Job Summary:

Join Burrell Behavioral Health in Kansas City, Missouri, as a Behavioral Health Technician. Support clinical staff and provide compassionate care to children and adolescents with various mental health conditions across settings like inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, and residential facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care and Safety: Monitor patients, assist with daily tasks, de-escalate situations, enforce safety, and report changes.
  • Therapeutic Activities: Lead and evaluate recreational and occupational therapy sessions.
  • Milieu Management: Maintain organized spaces, promote prosocial behaviors, and reinforce treatment goals.
  • Documentation: Record observations and interventions accurately in health records.
