Overview

Now Hiring Behavioral Health Technicians at our Orlando, FL Facility! We offer full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts.

About Us: Advanced Recovery Systems (ARS) is an integrated behavioral healthcare management company dedicated to transforming lives through comprehensive treatment. Our Orlando Recovery Center (ORC) provides a full continuum of care for individuals seeking recovery from addiction and co-occurring disorders, situated near Lake Ellenor in Central Florida.

Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for monitoring patients, reporting duties, maintaining a safe environment, and supporting patient activities. Collaborate with facility leadership to ensure success by:

• Enforcing facility program rules professionally and fairly
• Communicating patient behavior to supervisors and clinical teams
• Addressing problem behaviors through de-escalation techniques
• Adhering to schedules
• Maintaining professional boundaries
• Ensuring accurate and timely documentation
• Keeping clinical records secure

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's degree and at least one year of experience in BHT or similar role preferred; or two years of experience if no degree
• Completion of ARS training or BHT I certification preferred
• Experience working with children and adolescents is a plus
• Valid driver’s license meeting safety standards
• State-specific counselor license, Medication Technician/QMAP, CBHT, CNA, or MA preferred
• CPR and First Aid certifications required
