Community Options, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician for providing supportive services to children and adolescents facing emotional or behavioral challenges. This role involves traveling to different locations, implementing treatment plans, and educating families while ensuring a nurturing environment. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will provide one-to-one services to children and adolescents aged 2-24 with emotional and/or behavioral disturbances. Under the guidance of the Behavioral Consultant, you will help improve independent functioning to reduce or eliminate service needs. You will travel to clients' homes, schools, or service locations, following prescribed treatment plans, and providing behavioral interventions and support to clients and their families. You will set boundaries to prevent dependency, support parents and professionals, and educate/train families in skill utilization, using positive reinforcement and culturally competent approaches.
