Job summary

Key Works provides comprehensive substance use disorder treatment and work skills training to help low-income, high-risk patients achieve sustained recovery and rebuild their lives. We offer a unique combination of long-term residential clinical treatment, work skills training, and transitional housing.

The Behavioral Health Technician provides direct care and support to residents in Key Works Long-Term Substance Use Disorder Treatment program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of substance use disorders.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
• Valid WA driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular safety checks and facility rounds.
• Assist with housekeeping and ensure cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication logs.
• Complete all mandatory training to advance to Level 2.
• Ensure safety through rounds of all resident rooms across shifts.
• Read and understand Staff and Resident Handbooks for Long Term Recovery.
• Model appropriate behavior, communication and dress code per policies.

The Behavioral Health Technician provides direct care and support to residents in Key Works Long-Term Substance Use Disorder Treatment program. Ensures safety, supports treatment compliance, and assists with daily living activities.

Shifts:

Grave Wednesday - Saturday 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform regular safety checks and facility rounds.
• Assist with housekeeping and ensure cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication logs.
• Complete all mandatory training, as scheduled and required to advance to Level 2.
• Ensure property and resident safety through making rounds of all resident rooms throughout all shifts.
• Read and understand Staff Handbook, and Resident Handbooks for both Long Term Recovery and Recovery House.
• Model appropriate behavior, communication and dress code according to Key Works policies.

Requirements
