Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Lake Ariel is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians to support daily residential operations and ensure a safe, recovery-focused environment.

We value leadership, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills. A valid driver’s license and CPR are preferred, and sobriety in recovery is welcomed. Join us to help clients on their path to lasting recovery.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of experience in recovery field.
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.).
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures

What You'll Do

Avenues Recovery Center at Lake Ariel is a 60 - bed residential facility offering drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services.
