Job summary

Monte Nido Rosewood Scottsdale is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Technician to support patients with eating disorders in Scottsdale, AZ. You will provide quality patient care, monitor activities, assist with meals, and support therapy groups and activities.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid/CPI certification eligibility, and a valid AZ DPS fingerprint card. Prior behavioral health experience is preferred; driving is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, and CPI certifications.
• Must possess a current AZ DPS fingerprint card within specified timeframe.
• Must be 21 years of age or older in accordance with Dept. of Health Services R9-20-204.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record as driving is a requirement of the job.
• Experience in behavioral and/or mental health preferred.
• Eating Disorder knowledge, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing quality patient care, which includes demonstration of skills in basic monitoring of patient activities and behaviors.
• Provide meal monitoring, support and redirection of patients with eating disorders.
• Support topic groups with therapy activities including art activities, recreational activities, meditation, and guided imagery.

We are seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Technician.

Schedule: 4 shifts a week with Day (6a-2p or 6a-6p) and Evenings (2p-10p) shifts with a weekend day required.
