Pennsylvania Counseling Services, Inc. is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for full-time, flexible scheduling. The role offers $20 per billable hour and mileage reimbursement to support children with mental and behavioral health needs across home, school, and community settings.

You will work closely with families, schools, and other professionals to implement treatment plans and help children learn essential skills, promoting positive outcomes and family involvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, sociology, education, criminal justice, or similar human service field
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Check
• Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance
• FBI Criminal Background Check completed through the Department of Human Services

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children in homes, schools, and community settings
• Help children develop and apply important new skills
• Assist with individualized treatment plans across environments
• Work independently while maintaining flexibility to meet client needs
• Support early intervention efforts to help prevent more restrictive services
• Collaborate with families, schools, and other support systems
