Job summary

Youth Health Associates Inc. (YHA) seeks a dedicated Behavioral Health Tech to support young men ages 12-18 in our residential program. You will supervise clients, lead group activities, and mentor youths in daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, and school tasks.

Flexible full-time, part-time, weekend and swing shifts are available, with starting wages of 15+ USD per hour and room to grow. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401k after a waiting period.

Qualifications

• Must pass criminal background check.
• Must pass drug test.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Supervising clients in daily activities and group settings.
• Conducting group activities and recreational activities with clients.
• Mentoring clients in daily tasks such as cooking, shopping and schoolwork.
• Maintaining a safe environment by enforcing home rules.

Youth Health Associates (YHA) is a licensed residential treatment center for young males between the ages 12 to 18 who have experienced mental and behavioral difficulties. Our students do well in structured environments where they receive quality one-on-one support from youth mentors, therapists, and teachers. We are looking for Behavioral Health Tech who will play a major role in making meaningful changes in the lives of these young men.Our group home staff get hands-on experience in the field of social work!
