Job summary

Collage Rehabilitation Partners in Covington, LA is seeking a Full-Time Behavioral Health Technician for the second shift (7p-7a) to provide direct care in residential programs for adults with brain injuries. The role includes implementing behavioral training, documenting progress, and supporting residents in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid driver's license and responsible driving behavior
• Ability to lift 50lbs

Responsibilities

• Implements facility wide behavioral training as well as individual behavioral protocols, completing the necessary documentation
• Models appropriate behavior provides positive reinforcement and corrective feedback on a daily basis
• Assists residents in ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living includes bathing, transfers, toileting and physical assistance), assists and participates in physical, vocational and recreational activities
• Transports residents to medical appointments, vocational, recreational, educational activities in the community
• Completes all daily needed documentation (i.e. behavioral data, token exchange, shift summaries, house charts, checklists, medication administration records, and incident reports)
• Completes all housekeeping chores (i.e. laundry, vacuuming, dusting, etc.)

We are searching for Full-Time Behavior Health Technicians to work in our residential programs located in Covington, LA. Behavior Technicians provide direct care services to people with behavioral challenges as a result of brain injury.

Schedule: 7p-7a
