Job summary

Summit BHC, The Farley Center in Williamsburg, Virginia, is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech (MHT) for the full-time night shift with rotating weekends. The role supports a multidisciplinary treatment team by monitoring client behaviors, providing supervision, and assisting in data collection and crisis response.

Base pay ranges from $18 to $21 per hour with shift differentials and includes tuition assistance, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, daily pay options, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school graduate and equivalent required.
• Six months or more experience with the facility population preferred.
• Knowledge of psychiatric disorders and treatment modalities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the wellbeing of clients and a safe, structured environment.
• Conducts safety checks and monitors clients according to supervision guidelines.
• Records vital signs and communicates changes to the charge nurse.
• Engages clients in activities and supports group therapy participation.
• Prepares charts, assists with admissions/discharges, and transports as needed.
