Job summary

Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program in Stamford, CT is hiring a Behavioral Health Tech III to support patients through treatment from admission to discharge. You will assist with daily activities, monitor safety, lead psychoeducational groups, and document shift notes and progress.

The role requires strong communication, crisis intervention skills, and the ability to work with diverse populations. On-site, full-time schedule Sunday-Thursday, 3pm-11pm, with pay range $17-$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in mental health, substance use, or eating disorder field is preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted State Driver’s License.
• Must obtain CPI, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications within stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and ensure safety throughout admission to discharge.
• Provide patient interventions and support, including crisis management.
• Lead psychoeducational groups as directed by clinical team.
• Document shift notes and patient progress by end of shift.
• Provide transportation services as needed and pre-qualified to drive company vehicle.
