Job summary

Discovery Mood & Anxiety seeks a Behavioral Health Tech II to assist patients across admission to discharge, contributing to treatment planning and ensuring safety. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) preferred.
• One or more years experience working within the mental health, substance use or eating disorder field preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted State Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Assists patients through admission to discharge and supports treatment planning.
• Contributes to patient safety and provides patient interventions.
• Leads psychoeducational groups and supports daily program activities.
• Reports and documents shift notes, group notes and other required records by end of shift.
• Provides transportation services for patients when pre-qualified to drive a company vehicle.
• Supports admission and discharge processes and assists with meals supervision during the Eating Disorder Division where applicable.
• Maintains a safe, organized environment and collaborates with nursing staff as directed.
• Attends staff meetings and trainings as required.
