Job summary

Pennsylvania Counseling Services Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to provide direct support to children and families.

You will work one-on-one with children in homes, schools, and community settings to help them develop and apply new skills. You will help implement personalized treatment plans, work independently with a flexible schedule, and collaborate with families and schools to ensure a well-rounded approach to care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, sociology, education, criminal justice or similar human service field.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Check required.
• Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance required.
• FBI Criminal Background Check completed through the Department of Human Services.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children in homes, schools, and community settings to help them develop and apply new skills.
• Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans across environments.
• Work independently with a flexible schedule to meet client needs.
• Focus on preventing the need for more restrictive interventions by providing early support.
• Collaborate with families, schools, and other support systems to ensure a well-rounded approach to care.
