Job summary

LifePoint Health seeks a Behavioral Health Tech to support patient care in a hospital setting. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, direct patient care, and contributing to safety through crisis intervention and observation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; BLS within 45 days of hire; HWC within 45 days of hire.
• CNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Provides or assists with direct patient care, diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions.
• Observes and records patient behavior and activities; reports changes to nursing staff and suggests treatment-plan modifications.
• Provides crisis intervention with incoming calls and on the unit to maintain safety.
