Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CNA certification is preferred.
• Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) within 45 days of hire; Handle with Care (HWC) within 45 days.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Provides or assists with direct patient care, diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions.
• Observes and records patient behavior; reports changes to nursing staff and suggests treatment modifications.
• Provides crisis intervention with incoming calls and on the unit to maintain safety.
