Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in behavioral health, mental health, or healthcare setting.
• Experience with patients with psychiatric disorders or substance use preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and monitor safety every 15 minutes.
• Observe, document, and report patient status to the care team.
• Assist in implementing treatment plans under supervision of professionals.
• Engage patients in structured activities and coping skills.
• Respond to crises, de-escalate conflicts, and follow safety protocols.
• Maintain a safe environment and prevent elopement or self-harm.
• Assist with vital signs and collect specimens as required.
• Collaborate with nurses and therapists to support patient progress.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Educate patients on coping strategies and daily living skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned and maintain reliable attendance.
• Comply with all facility policies and standards.
