Job summary

Clinica Family Health & Wellness in Louisville, CO seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to join our Crisis Intervention Services on the Acute Care Services team. You will provide direct care and support to individuals with mental health and substance use disorders, helping identify the right services and enrolling clients into the best program for their needs.

This is an in-person, 24x7 operation. You will de‑escalate crises, document thoroughly, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field or equivalent behavioral health experience.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience.
• De-escalation training provided if not already trained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients to the Clinic and assess client needs.
• Complete client registration and program enrollment(s).
• Maintain thorough, accurate and timely documentation of services and progress.
• Complete bed searches and assist with placement in higher level of care.
• De-escalate potentially challenging or dangerous situations.
• Coordinate and respond to client needs with multidisciplinary team.
• This is not a remote role.
