Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; BHT training/certification preferred.
• Experience in mental health or behavioral health settings with direct patient care is preferred.
• Familiarity with clinical documentation standards and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting clinical assessments and monitor patient behavior to inform treatment plans.
• Provide direct patient care including daily living activities and therapeutic interventions.
• Implement crisis intervention techniques to manage and de-escalate behavioral emergencies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and discharge plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans.
• Support patients with Severe Emotional Disturbance (SED) using specialized care strategies.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment by following established protocols.
