Job summary

Bradford Health Services in Louisville, TN is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support individuals experiencing mental health challenges under clinical supervision. You will implement treatment plans, conduct clinical assessments, and help ensure patient safety and continuity of care.

This role involves crisis intervention and de-escalation, maintaining thorough clinical documentation, and assisting with discharge planning to coordinate ongoing care with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; BH Technician training preferred.
• Experience or training in mental health care and crisis intervention.
• Ability to document accurately and protect patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Strong communication with patients, families and teams.
• Knowledge of mental health disorders and crisis management.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support to individuals with mental health and emotional disorders (SED).
• Conduct clinical assessments and monitor patient progress per treatment plans.
• Implement crisis intervention techniques and manage emergency situations.
• Maintain thorough clinical documentation, including progress notes and discharge plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate discharge planning and ongoing care.
• Assist patients with daily living activities and promote therapeutic engagement.
• Observe and report changes in patient behavior to clinical supervisors.
