Job summary

STHS Behavioral is seeking a Mental Health Technician – Tier I to provide direct care, monitoring, and advocacy for behavioral health clients and to support professional staff by performing a wide variety of duties. This role requires a High School diploma or GED, CPI certification within 90 days, and current BLS within 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or Higher Education required.
• Must obtain Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) certification within 90 days of starting unit orientation (training provided).
• Current BLS upon hire or acquire within 30 days of employment and current thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care, monitoring, and advocacy for behavioral health clients.
• Assist and support professional staff.
• Perform a wide variety of duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as required.
