Job summary

Mosaic Wellness & Recovery in Johns Creek is hiring full-time Behavioral Health Techs (BHTs) to maintain a safe, structured, therapeutic environment in detox and residential mental health settings.

You will provide supervision, assist with daily routines, respond to crises, and document observations while collaborating with clinical staff. Evening shifts with weekend coverage; on-site facility; competitive pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; higher degree preferred in Psychology/Social Work or related field.
• Experience in mental health, detox, residential treatment, behavioral health, or crisis intervention preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record (no DUIs in past 5 years; ≤3 moving violations in past 3 years).
• CPR and de-escalation training preferred (training available).
• Strong communication, teamwork, professionalism, and ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision, engagement, and support to guests in detox and residential settings.
• Conduct safety checks, monitor behaviours, and document observations accurately.
• Assist with daily routines, activities, meals, and therapeutic programming as directed.
• Respond promptly to crisis situations, behavioral escalations, and medical emergencies using de-escalation techniques.
• Work collaboratively with clinical, nursing, and medical staff to support treatment plans.
• Maintain confidentiality, ethical standards, and compliance with facility policies.
• Provide transportation in company vehicles for guests as needed.
• Help create a respectful, calm, recovery-focused environment.

Mosaic Wellness & Recovery is a dedicated behavioral health provider offering detox and residential mental health services to adults in Johns Creek. We are seeking compassionate and dependable Behavioral Health Techs (BHTs) to play a vital role in maintaining a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for individuals receiving care.

We are currently hiring for full-time 8-hour shifts with openings on:

• Evening Shift, includes weekend shifts

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide direct supervision, engagement, and support to guests in detox and residential mental health settings.

• Conduct safety checks, monitor behaviors, and document observations accurately.

• Assist with daily routines, activities, meals, and therapeutic programming as directed.
