Job summary

Turning-Point-Community-Programs in Rancho Cordova, CA, seeks a Direct Service Specialist to help members meet their goals and access community services. Under supervision, you will advocate for members in treatment areas and assist with housing, transportation, and medication outreach.

As part of the role, you will provide after-hours on-call coverage as needed, help with data entry and case management, and ensure safety and well-being of members in the program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years of direct mental health services experience preferred.
• Lived experience is a plus.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist members to identify and progress toward their personal goals.
• Empower members and provide vocational support.
• Assist staff and members in planning activities, programming, and groups.
• Coordinate communication between agencies and with doctors, clients, and pharmacies.
• Provide crisis support and on-call coverage as needed.
• Maintain client records and required documentation accurately.
