Job summary

Bayside Marin is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide personal care services to residents under clinical supervision. You will support daily living activities, monitor safety and comfort, and document care and observations in the resident records.

You will work to create a positive environment, engage residents in social and rehabilitative activities, and communicate concerns promptly to nursing staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least six months of experience working with the facility's resident population preferred.
• CPR, de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available on hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services including activities of daily living.
• Document vital signs and patient records accurately.
• Monitor patient safety and assist with safety checks.
• Interact with residents and communicate observations to nursing staff.
• Assist in creating a safe and comfortable environment for residents and staff.
• Engage residents in educational-rehabilitative activities and group sessions.
