Job summary

Mohave Mental Health Clinic, Inc. is seeking a Managing Clinician to coordinate care across treatment teams and ensure engagement of clients and families in behavioral health services.

The role emphasizes collaboration, documentation, and resource linkage to support recovery. Responsibilities include coordinating with multiple stakeholders, developing BHSPs, and de-escalating crises while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree in a behavioral health field is preferred.
• Valid AZ driver’s license and proof of insurance are required.
• Arizona fingerprint clearance is required.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact, coordinating with the client’s team and other systems.
• Engage with client and family through in-person and phone interactions to maintain engagement.
• Provide medically necessary behavioral health services as part of the treatment team.
• Assist in safety/crisis planning and progress documentation in the record.
• Develop and monitor Behavioral Health Service Plans (BHSPs).
• Connect clients/families with resources beyond covered services to meet basic needs.
• Coordinate client care with family members, health providers, and community resources.
• Deliver behavioral health services meeting the agency’s annual hour targets.
