Job summary

Center for Family Services in Absecon, NJ is hiring a full-time Behavioral Health Assistant to support prescribers and patients in the outpatient department. You will handle direct care, case management, medication inquiries, and documentation of electronic records in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with associates or a bachelor's degree preferred. A valid NJ driver’s license, strong communication skills, and the ability to work Monday

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates or bachelor's preferred.
• Experience in medical or behavioral health support is desirable.
• Strong customer service and written/verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented with good organizational abilities and ability to meet deadlines.
• A valid NJ driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care support and case management to prescriber staff and patients.
• Manage client medication inquiries and coordinate with PCPs and labs.
• Maintain and document client electronic records for licensing and compliance.
• Assist with prior authorizations and documentation in the EMR system.
• Close cases under supervision of program leadership; assist with BMI and vitals.
• Coordinate with medical staff and community physicians as directed.
